I finished this portrait early October 2021. The portrait was commissioned as a wedding anniversary present. It has now been gifted, and I’m able to share it with you. My goal with the face itself, was to capture the warm friendly smile of this very kind-looking man. The background is designed to resemble a tweed jacket (as he’s not wearing one), to add depth, and to make the face pop out from the background.
